Default Facial hair

Why is it that a warrior who has ben defending a wall for several years is clean shaven and Socerors (i.e. elementalists and necromancers) who are known to have long flowing beards are all sporting baby butt smooth chins? Why are the effeminate looking rangers the only ones that can sport a full beard? (wich comes out as somthing reminiscent of the Michael Jackson mug shot)

I say that not only should male facial hair (not just full beards but beards minus the mustache and mustaches alone) be expanded upon in character creation but that it should be a selection separate from the face selector.

Also that a barber NPC be created that permits a user to change their hair and facial hair style for a hefty fee.

*I oppologize to any offended rangers....please don't put a Charr head in my bed or anything.

I agree with you totally. I was quite aggravated that I couldn't put any facial hair on my warrior. My ranger also has no facial hair despite the option.. I went for the thin-faced elvish look with him and a very dark skinned, white haired Dark Elf look for my elementlist. My mesmer managed to get a decent gotee, so I'm happy I got at least one character that somewhat resembles me..lol

I like the idea of the barber/beautician.. Let people have something to spend their money on. I'd love to be able to change hair color or style on my characters on occasion and I'm pretty sure the ladies would love to change theirs as well.

Wouldn't it be cool if the hair grew longer? Not actually in-game, but after awhile when you log back in (assuming you log off ) that your hair is longer? Then the barber would be needed (unless we had a bunch of furry monkeys running around ).

I couldn't agree more that we need more facial hair options...

Of course it would also be cool if you did not look like 10000 other players but that is NC Soft for you... everyone in there world looks alike.

I think one of the reason we dont see anything long/big hair is that then it wont require extra work into the animation.

but i want some cool looking beard for us to play around too =(

Anyone noticed the characters all look like they stepped out of a 1980's music video? Not much facial hair then it was pre-grunge. Facial hair would be nice, but then every necro would be lookin' like Rob Zombie. (well, that is better than the punk look that dominates the game now)

I made the mistake to give my necro a mohawk at the beginning so yeah, punk.
But facial hair would be great indeed.
